HOUSTON, Jan. 26, 2021 – JLL is pleased to announce the sale of the Kingwood Executive Center, a 29,120-square-foot medical office building located at 201 Kingwood Medical Drive. Chris DiSalle exclusively represented ownership, Woodside Health.
The property is fully leased and located just off U.S. Route 59 on the campus of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in Kingwood, Texas. HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is a 419-bed acute care hospital that provides northeast Houston with exceptional, cost-effective care. Within the last several years, HCA has completed over $100 million in capital projects to expand its service offerings.
To further position Kingwood Executive Center as a coveted space for medical office use and increase value, Woodside Health strategically leased to high-quality medical tenants, maintained strong relationships and infused capital throughout the building.
“The sale of this building is an encouraging sign for the recovery of the country’s hospitals amid the pandemic,” said DiSalle. “Nationally, we’re noticing an uptick in medical office building transactions similar to Kingwood Executive Center. In fact, the year-to-date volume of medical office building sales in 2020 at the end of Q3 was a resounding $7.2 billion.”
