Outpatient Projects: Catalyst starts a large MOB in Florida

The 106,000 s.f. Naples MOB will allow the hospital next door to expand

Although more and more MOB projects these days are awarded through the request for proposals (RFP) process, relationships remain at the heart of the business.

Just ask officers with Pensacola, Fla.-based Catalyst Healthcare Real Estate (HRE), an HRE firm that had its start in 2011 and has subsequently built up a 20-state portfolio through development and acquisitions.

The company broke ground in recent weeks on a future four-story, 106,000 square foot MOB at the 109-bed Physicians Regional Medical Center – Pine Ridge campus in Naples, Fla., on the Gulf Coast in the southwestern part of the state.

Slated for completion in mid-2021, the MOB will offer services that include imaging, primary care, cardiology, orthopedics, physical therapy, surgical specialties, a walk-in clinic and other services.
