News Release: American Nurses buys Orlando office building

American Nurses Acquires 7KSF Medical Office Building Near Downtown Orlando

The Orlando-Based Home Healthcare Agency Plans to Significantly Renovate the Former Optometry Office

ORLANDO, FL, May 12, 2020 – Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of a 7,058-square-foot medical office building in Uptown Orlando for $1.41 million. The buyer is American Nurses, an Orlando-based home health care company that will use the building as its corporate headquarters.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Glen Jaffee represented the seller in the disposition. The building was previously occupied by an optometry clinic.

Situated at 214 E. Marks St., just north of downtown Orlando, the property offers immediate access to Interstate 4 and convenience to many of Central Florida’s other major roadways.

American Nurses plans to make significant updates to the building, which include a complete gutting of the interior and extensive redesign of the exterior to modernize its appearance. The renovation will also create a section of the building that could be leased to another professional tenant in the future.

“American Nurses deploys over 100 home health care professionals who provide quality, compassionate care to Central Florida residents each day,” said Jaffee. “We are seeing that home health care continues to be an essential medical service, and this building provides the perfect, centralized location for American Nurses to grow its business and serve our community.”

Founded in 1998, American Nurses is a Medicare/Medicaid Certified Agency that provides nurses, physical therapy, occupational therapy, social work, speech therapy, aid and attendant care, wound care and IV administration.
