WARMINSTER, Pa., and DALLAS, Feb. 20, 2020 — In a continuation of its successful expansion across the country, including the Mid-Atlantic states, Caddis® has begun developing its second Heartis® senior living community in Pennsylvania. The firm closed on Heartis Bucks County in Warminster, Pa. near Philadelphia on Feb. 6.

Kyle A. Miller, Director Development of the Dallas-based national healthcare real estate firm, explained that Caddis began expanding in the Mid-Atlantic region near Philadelphia early last year with the development of Heartis Yardley, which is expected to open this summer.

“We have been actively introducing our popular national Heartis senior living brand to residents in the Midwest and Southeast, and now the Mid-Atlantic,” says Mr. Miller.

He added, “Our research showed that there is strong demand for new senior living communities near Philadelphia. I think residents of Warminster and the surrounding area will find Heartis Bucks County an appealing new senior living option.”

Caddis Vice President of Senior Living Tami Cumings notes, “Heartis communities offer unparalleled comfort and class and every modern feature and amenity imaginable to meet residents’ needs and fit their lifestyles. We expect that this new Heartis senior residence will be a fitting addition to the beautiful Warminster area.”

Ms. Cumings said the senior community will offer easy access from the Interstate 276 corridor and York Road. It also will be conveniently located near Warminster Town Center, restaurants, hotels, active adult communities and Abington-Jefferson Health, which provides outpatient and community health services.

The 162,000 square foot Heartis Bucks County will include 156 spacious, individualized independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments. The community will feature a host of first-class amenities, including large, secured courtyards and walking paths; beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens; game and activity rooms; a large dining room serving chef-prepared, home-cooked meals; ongoing social and recreational activities; a beauty parlor and barber shop; relaxing common areas; and luxurious finishes.

Heartis Bucks County is expected to open in fall 2021. The general contractor for the project is C & C Construction, which is headquartered in Philadelphia, and the architect is Austin, Texas-based Katus LLC.
