DALLAS — MedProperties Realty Advisors LLC recently announced the addition of three professionals to its team.
Robin Ziegler – Robin Ziegler has joined MedProperties Realty Advisors as Senior Director of Finance. In that role, she has direct and oversight responsibilities for all accounting and finance activities of MedProperties’ related discretionary investment funds and stand-alone investment entities, including tax and audit compliance. In addition, Ms. Ziegler has investor relations responsibilities, and oversees the firm’s human resource activities.
Prior to joining MedProperties, Ms. Ziegler spent seven years at Invesco, most recently serving as Senior Director, Client Portfolio Manager. During her time at Invesco, she was responsible for coordination of IRE’s product management team for private real estate and public real estate securities. Ms. Ziegler also served as a Senior Controller responsible for the financial overview and reporting for a portfolio of assets under Invesco’s management. Prior to joining Invesco in 2011, Ms. Ziegler was a Director in Fund Accounting at Archon Group (a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs) where she oversaw the accounting and reporting for private equity and real estate funds with a total of approximately $15 billion in assets under management. Prior to joining Archon Group, Ms. Ziegler was a Senior Manager at the public accounting firm of KPMG LLP in the Real Estate and Financial Services Group working primarily with large real estate clients. Ms. Ziegler also held roles at Arthur Andersen, LLP and Crescent Real Estate Equities Company.
Ms. Ziegler received a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Jon Foulger – Jon Foulger has joined MedProperties Realty Advisors as Director of Acquisitions. Mr. Foulger has 20 years of real estate experience, much of which has been in the development and acquisition of healthcare real estate.
Prior to joining MedProperties, Mr. Foulger was the Vice President Finance & Business Development for Astoria Property Company, a real estate affiliate of Nueterra Capital and NueHealth. NueHealth is a national surgical healthcare operator that has partnered with over 10,000 physicians and 20 health systems in over 150 healthcare facilities in the United States. Prior to Astoria, Mr. Foulger co-founded Ameritex Investments, LLC, a firm whose activities included healthcare real estate, and prior to Ameritex, he was the Vice President of Acquisitions & Development for Cottonwood Partners, where he was involved in the development of a physician-partnered hospital campus, and the acquisition of over $200 million of office properties.
Mr. Foulger holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
Carlton Cornelius – Carlton Cornelius has joined MedProperties Realty Advisors as an Associate Asset Manager. Mr. Cornelius assists in the asset management of fund related portfolio investments. Prior to joining MedProperties, Mr. Cornelius worked in asset management at Indio Management, optimizing profits and managing quarterly reporting. Prior to his time at Indio Management, Mr. Cornelius spent three years in the banking industry as a Portfolio Manager and Credit Analyst.
Mr. Cornelius received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Texas A&M University (cum laude), and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University.
