Clinic is teaming with a Singapore firm to add a hotel and medical space

A recently announced plan calls for the addition of 11 new stories to the Gonda building in downtown Rochester. The addition would include four floors of medical clinic space for Mayo Clinic, and seven floors of luxury hotel rooms
Even though Rochester, Minn., has long been home to the main campus and headquarters of the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, it remained, by Midwest standards, a somewhat small to medium sized city with a functional downtown for many decades.
