PMB, Generations LLC planning large senior housing, medical complex

As the population of local seniors increases in coming years in the suburbs south of San Francisco, the area will be in dire need of more housing and healthcare services for this aging cohort.
Plans for the future Peninsula Wellness Community would include 375 units of senior housing as well as medical research and office space, professional offices, community facilities, and other uses, such as the community open space shown above.
The Peninsula Health Care District, which is based in the city of Burlingame, has plans to help meet some of the needs of San Mateo County’s current and looming “silver tsunami.”
