News Release: Capital Growth Medvest is planning its first development in The Centennial State in Durango, Colo.

Durango, Colo. (7/27/2018): Capital Growth Medvest is planning its first development in The Centennial State in Durango, Colo. The facility will be an expansion of the Rivergate Medical Campus and Animas Surgical Hospital, which is a part of Surgery Partners’ national network. The new 73,125-square-foot 3-story medical office building (“MOB”) will be anchored by an ambulatory surgery center (“ASC”) on the ground floor. To improve access for patients, visitors, and staff, the plans include a parking structure providing 300 spaces.

Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood (“GMC”), the project’s architect, is in the late stages of finalizing its design. GMC, with 16 locations across the Southeast and more than 375 employees, is one of the region’s largest privately held architecture and engineering firms. Brasfield & Gorrie, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama and one of the largest privately held construction firms in the nation, has been selected as the general contractor for the facility.

Ground breaking is scheduled for October of this year and completion is expected near the end of 2019.
