Post-Acute & Senior Living: Senior housing occupancy falls in Q1

But NIC says occupancies for assisted living are likely to rebound in the second quarter

The occupancy rates for senior housing properties continue to drop, as the national average fell to 88.3 percent in the first quarter (Q1) of 2018.

That represents a drop of 0.5 percent from Q4 2017 and nearly a full percentage point from a year earlier, in Q1 2017.
