In order to provide the best care possible to our members and the community, Kaiser Permanente is building a brand-new, state-of-the-art medical office building to replace our current Riverside Medical Office Building.
When complete, the new 210,000-square-foot building will include nearly double the number of provider offices, a larger pharmacy, a larger laboratory, and expanded services including an on-site MRI suite.
Along with being a more efficient building in terms of the services provided, Kaiser Permanente is working to make the new facility a LEED Gold building. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and looks at several aspects of energy efficiency, water usage, greenhouse gases, and other items to determine the environmental footprint of the building. If successful, this would be Kaiser Permanente’s first LEED Gold building in the greater Sacramento Area.
The new facility is scheduled to open for patient care in the Fall of 2019.
The current medical offices will stay open throughout the construction process. All members and visitors can valet park at no cost. This service is now available and will continue until construction is finished.
