News Release: Dignity Health Breaks Ground For New Medical Office Building

State-of-the-art medical office in Citrus Heights will serve the growing medical needs of the community and improve access to quality care for residents.

Dignity Health Medical Foundation broke ground on May 23, 2017 on a new 68,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical office building in Citrus Heights that will serve the growing medical needs of the community and improve access to quality care for residents. Located at 7115 Greenback Lane, the new three-story Mercy Medical Group Citrus Heights Medical Office Building will feature the latest technology from electronic medical records to lab services and other patient care equipment.

The expansion will include 50 physicians providing a wide range of primary and specialty care services for patients including allergy, behavioral health, dermatology, endocrinology, family medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, ophthalmology, optometry, pain management, pediatrics and rheumatology.

City and community leaders joined Dignity Health, Dignity Health Medical Foundation and Mercy Medical Group, Inc. employees and providers to ceremoniously mark the start of construction. The new care center is part of a $30 million dollar investment in the community and is slated to open in spring, 2019.

For the past 50 years, Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center has served the Citrus Heights community and the new building strengthens that commitment.
