GILBERT, Ariz. – Irgens completed the acquisition of four acres of land for an upcoming Gilbert medical campus that is already 65 percent pre-leased.

Groundbreaking is planned to start this week for the $17 million medical campus, Spectrum Medical Commons, near Val Vista Drive and the 202 SanTan Freeway. The facility will be adjacent from the Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

Development will begin with a two-story, multi-tenant building at 3367 S. Mercy Road, fit with 44,000 square feet of leasable space. Common break room and conference facilities will be featured along with outdoor patio seating for tenant staff.

This project will be the first new multi-tenant leasable medical facility in the area developed since 2010.

The building has been designed by Devenney Architects and construction is being handled by A.R. Mays. Leasing is being handled by Michael Dupuy, Fletcher Perry and Rachael Thompson of Kidder Matthews. John Asher of AT Real Estate represented Irgens in the land acquisition and Leroy Breinholt and Cory Sposi of CPI represented the seller.
