Healthcare real estate compensation survey unveiled

Most companies in almost any sector would like to know, or sometimes feel a need to know, how the pay and benefits they provide to their employees stacks up against other, similarly sized firms in the same industry. Such information can be valuable when hiring new employees or offering raises and performance bonuses.
In the healthcare real estate (HRE) sector, which in this reference includes all types of medical facilities except for seniors housing, finding such information has not been easy.
But starting this year, Washington, D.C.-based BOMA International is publishing a new report that provides a wide range of compensation information for HRE firms. To conduct and compile the data, it hired Chicago-based Christenson Advisory Services, which provides compensation and pay practice information for a wide range of real estate companies.
