Although medical office building (MOB) construction, occupancies and rental rates still haven’t returned to pre-Great Recession levels, a first quarter (Q1) 2016 decline in construction has helped to improve occupancies and rents, according to the “U.S. Healthcare Real Estate Outlook 2016” report from the brokerage firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF).
