National firm tops Modern Healthcare’s annual list with more than $1.19 billion in completed projects in 2015, earning the top spot for the 15th time in the past 17 years
MILWAUKEE, May 11, 2016 – Hammes Company has once again topped the annual list of America’s leading healthcare facility developers.
Milwaukee-based Hammes Company completed projects totaling 2.8 million square feet and valued more than $1.19 billion, according to Modern Healthcare magazine’s 37th annual Construction and Design Survey, released March 18.
Two of Hammes Company’s notable projects that contributed to the top ranking include The Presence Center for Advanced Care, a 10-story lakeshore outpatient facility located on the campus of Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, and Riverside Methodist Hospital, a 409,000 square foot, 224-bed hospital expansion project in Columbus, Ohio, which added a new, nine-story patient bed tower and a 400-vehicle parking garage to the hospital’s 43-acre campus.
