  • Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, which operates a 404-bed flagship facility in the heart of Tyler, Texas, recently announced that it plans to move forward with a new, 41,200 square foot inpatient facility with an ED on the south side of the city, which is about 100 miles east of Dallas. The community hospital, according to officials, will be open 24 hours a day. The health system will develop the facility in partnership with the Woodlands, Texas-based Emerus, which will build and manage the site. “When you have an emergency, minutes count,” noted Lindsey Bradley, president of Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, in a statement. “Our new Mother Frances Hospital in South Tyler will provide care for emergent medical needs, admit patients for routine hospital care, or stabilize and transfer patients needing complex care to our main facility.” The new hospital, Mother Frances Hospital South Tyler, will be built at 8389 S. Broadway Ave., and will include an ED, inpatient beds, advanced imaging and diagnostic laboratory services. 25
