Fund acquires the Lange Eye Institute property in The Villages, FL.
THE VILLAGES, December 16th, 2015 – Flagship Healthcare Real Estate Fund is pleased to announce its acquisition of the Lange Eye Institute in The Villages, Florida. The 2-story, 21,384 square-foot medical and professional office building is fully leased and marks the 13th investment for the Fund.
A bustling master planned age-restricted community, The Villages is the fastest growing city in the United States and has more than doubled in population since 2010. Attractive demographics and rapid population growth create a strong demand for healthcare and related services. The building contains a diverse mix of tenants including podiatry, ophthalmology, chiropractic, and dentistry practices. “We are thrilled for our first acquisition into Florida to be in The Villages for all the obvious reasons,” said Russell Brown, Vice President of Investments at Brackett Flagship Properties. “The building’s strong group of practices and companies led by Dr. Michael Lange’s optometry practice gives us the solid foundation that we were seeking in this dynamic market.”
