Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 11, 2015 – Keith A. Tickell, a Jacksonville resident, who most recently served as chief operating officer of Flagler Development in Miami and Jacksonville, a subsidiary of Florida East Coast Industries, has been named the vice president of Strategic Assets/Real Estate starting Aug. 4.
Tickell, who has served as a board member of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2012, has close to 30 years in project development and commercial real estate. He has served since 2001 in various roles with Flagler, a commercial real estate company.
As the former chief financial officer and more recently chief operating officer, Tickell oversaw operational aspects of a 100 building commercial real estate portfolio totaling 11.8 million square feet, and marketed, negotiated and closed in excess of $1 billion of real estate deals in multiple transactions.
Tickell also previously worked as chief administrative officer for The North Highland Company in Atlanta, which provides management and technology consulting services throughout the U.S. He also was a vice president for Nordic Refrigerated Services in Atlanta and a vice president and chief financial officer for Sabal Corporation, which was an owner, developer and manager of a mixed-use commercial development park in Tampa.
In his role as Baptist Health’s vice president of Strategic Assets/Real Estate, Tickell’s responsibilities will include supporting Baptist’s property management, construction management and real estate development team, and influencing the environments in which Baptist Health provides healing and care to the community of northeast Florida.

Tickell has a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University in Atlanta and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
