The healthcare real estate firm is working with the senior living management company for the first time to offer a 94-unit Heartis residence in Illinois
PEORIA, Ill., and DALLAS, July 29, 2015 – When Caddis, a national healthcare real estate firm, was considering expanding its Heartis senior living brand in additional U.S. markets, it found the perfect partner. Caddis, which is headquartered in Dallas, is partnering for the first time with Pathway Senior Living LLC, a nationally recognized operator of senior living communities in the Chicago area and Wisconsin.
The first product of that new partnership will be Heartis Peoria: a three-story, 97,000 square foot, 94-unit assisted living and memory care community that Caddis just began developing in this central Illinois city, about 170 miles southwest of Chicago. The residence will be owned by Caddis and will be managed by Pathway Senior Living.

Heartis Peoria is expected to be completed in the fall of 2016. The architect for the project is Austin, Texas-based KATUS, and the general contractor is McShane Construction Company LLC, which is headquartered in Rosemont, Ill. Construction debt financing is being provided by Bank of Texas.
