Project management expert John Healy joins healthcare consulting firm’s Facility Development group in new office responsible for Mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets
MILWAUKEE and ATLANTA, June 9, 2015 – Expanding its facility development group in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, leading healthcare consulting firm Hammes Company has appointed John Healy as Regional Vice President, heading the firm’s newly established Atlanta office.
Mr. Healy has primary responsibility for the firm’s project management activities throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Hammes Company recognizes the desirable combination of skill and expertise Mr. Healy brings to the position with his diverse and extensive background in project delivery, project management and business development during the past two decades with some of the Southeast region’s most prominent healthcare organizations.

Mr. Healy brings almost 30 years of experience in healthcare project management and business development, with completed projects totaling more than $750 million and 1.7 million square feet, and more than $1.4 billion in project planning experience. He joins Hammes Company from his successful tenure at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was Senior Vice President of its Southeast operations.
Prior to that, Mr. Healy was Senior Project Manager for Carolinas Healthcare System where he managed a range of renovation projects at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. In addition, Mr. Healy served in project management roles at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, Westinghouse Savannah River Company and as a Munitions Maintenance Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Healy received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Notre Dame, an MBA from University of North Dakota, and a Masters of Project Management from Western Carolina University.
