CHICAGO – May 26, 2015 – Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC (“H2C”), a healthcare-focused strategic advisory and investment banking firm, continues to expand its senior professional team with the addition of Philip J. Kaplan as a Managing Director in the Chicago office.

Phil’s focus at H2C will be on advising healthcare providers in connection with strategic initiatives and the capital implications of those initiatives. He brings over 13 years of experience providing investment banking services to national and regional health systems, major academic medical centers and large community hospitals. He has completed transactions for some of the most prestigious health systems in the country including, among others, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Partners Healthcare.

Prior to joining H2C, Phil provided investment banking services to healthcare providers as part of the Public Finance Healthcare Groups of Wells Fargo Securities, Goldman Sachs and Citi. He began his investment banking career as part of Houlihan Lokey’s Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory Group in Chicago.

Phil received an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and his BS in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
