Inpatient Projects: ‘Micro’ hospital planned for growing Tyler, Texas, in eastern part of state

TYLER, Texas – Two hospitals dominate the market in Tyler, a city of 100,000 or so residents about 100 miles east of Dallas.

The parent company of one of them, Tyler-based Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, which has six hospitals in Northeast Texas and has operated the 404-bed Mother Frances Hospital-Tyler for 75 years, recently announced plans for a new hospital on the city’s growing south side.
