News Release: OGA to Transform Vacant East Nashville Grocery Store to Outpatient Medical Clinic

Nashville- based healthcare real estate developer has commenced construction on the facility

Nashville, Tenn. – Oman-Gibson Associates (OGA), a Nashville-based national healthcare real estate development and project management firm, has announced plans to redevelop a vacated East Nashville grocery store into an outpatient medical clinic to serve the community.

“It’s always exciting to be able to take a vacant structure and redevelop it as a community resource,” said Sam Sarbacker, Vice President – Development with OGA. “This vacant grocery store will once again positively serve the area. As the population of East Nashville continues to boom, converting this space into an outpatient medical clinic that delivers vital services will be a great asset for this community.”

OGA acquired the 9,000 square foot property, located at 1001 Riverside Drive, for $750,000 in November from Kelley Properties, LLC.  Construction of the project is estimated to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2015.

Since its founding in 2002, OGA has had a long-standing tradition of converting vacant buildings to meet the growing demand for healthcare facilities. OGA has extensive experience in developing and managing a wide range of healthcare and other commercial properties not only in Nashville, but across the country. The firm’s portfolio includes completion of more than 250 outpatient medical facility projects throughout the US.
