■ Shawn A. Janus recently joined San Diego-based Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB), a well-known healthcare facilities developer, owner and manager. Mr. Janus joins PMB as a senior VP for healthcare development and acquisitions. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Janus’ area of expertise in healthcare includes development, acquisition, and capital market activities. “Shawn is a top-flight healthcare real estate professional whose experience, relationships and passion for healthcare will enable PMB to expand its geographic reach,” said Mark Toothacre, president of PMB. Prior to joining PMB, Mr. Janus was managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and one of the senior leaders in the firm’s healthcare specialty practice. Previously, he was executive VP of Lillibridge Healthcare Real Estate Trust. During his seven years with Lillibridge, Mr. Janus acquired more than $800 million of property with more than 4.2 million square feet. He participated in the development of more than 25 healthcare projects valued in excess of $350 million.
