Indianapolis, IN – December 15, 2014 – Local real estate development company, Cornerstone Companies, Inc. has been hired by American Healthcare Investors Management Services, Inc. (AHI) to act as the exclusive leasing and management agent for a 676,473 square foot portfolio of medical office buildings. NorthStar Realty Finance recently acquired the portfolio in a $4 billion merger with American Healthcare Investors. The properties are located in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Evansville and Munster.
As a result of the AHI contract, Cornerstone now manages 2,500,000 rentable square feet (rsf) of medical office space. The company is now the largest third-party management and leasing company 100% focused on healthcare properties in the state of Indiana. Cornerstone has added surgery center engineers, and healthcare management and leasing specialists to service the account.
