News Release: Sam Schenkel Joins NAI Harding Dahm and Bradley Company as Senior Vice President of Operations for Northeast Indiana

FORT WAYNE, INDIANA – 6/3/2014 – NAI Harding Dahm, a member of the world’s premier managed network of commercial real estate firms, is proud to announce that Sam Schenkel has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Operations for Northeast Indiana.

Sam Schenkel, CPM, CCIM, has been in Fort Wayne commercial real estate for over 25 years.  His roots trace back to working with his family in commercial construction during his high school and college years.  He began his real estate career with the Northill Corporation, where he managed commercial office building tenant construction projects in conjunction with their office leasing program.  In 1992, Sam joined Sturges, Griffin, Trent & Company, which later became CBRE|Sturges, and spent 22 years in property management, development, and brokerage services.  During his tenure with CBRE|Sturges, Sam gained valuable experience in all facets of the commercial real estate business. This included a dynamic property management portfolio of large shopping centers, healthcare campus facilities, multi-story office buildings, and industrial parks.  Sam was also instrumental in many notable commercial development projects throughout the Fort Wayne area including Southtown Centre and the Dupont Business & Medical Park.  His development experience also provided a platform for several design-build / leaseback projects for healthcare and retail clients.  Sam also became involved with the marketing and brokerage of many commercial and mixed-use projects, which gave him the opportunity to work with several large retailers including Wal-Mart and Menards.

In 2014, Sam joined forces with NAI Harding Dahm and Bradley Company to oversee its operations in Northeast Indiana.  His responsibilities include running the day-to-day operations of NAI Harding Dahm along with overseeing the development of market goals, streamlining of operations, and the development and execution of strategic initiatives across all business lines.

Sam has earned the Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations, along with membership in numerous professional groups and associations.  He is also involved with and has served on many community and charitable service organizations’ boards including The Rescue Mission, St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Joe Community Health Foundation, and the Bishop Dwenger Board of Education.

Sam’s success is directly attributed to a combination of diverse experiences and skills, an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the commercial real estate business, and a hardworking, dedicated level of leadership and service to those around him.

“When we decided to begin this search, we went straight to Sam,” declares Bradley Company President & CEO Brad Toothaker. NAI Harding Dahm President Dan Dickey continued, “His breadth of knowledge and strong relationships make him absolutely the right person to lead our team and our clients into the future. We’re thrilled to have him.”
