JennersvilleACCSeavest and developer collaborate to develop a 72,000 square foot MOB at new Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital healthcare destination in Jennersville, Pa.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., and JENNERSVILLE, Pa., May 29, 2014 – White Plains-based Seavest Healthcare Properties LLC in partnership with Anchor Health Properties has started construction of the new Jennersville Medical Office Building (MOB) at the Penn Medicine Southern Chester County healthcare destination, in the rapidly growing Jennersville, Pa. market, a suburb of Philadelphia. The two-story, 72,000 square foot MOB is being built on an easily assessable site, located at the northeast corner of Route 1 and Route 796. The steel-framed, brick and metal clad ambulatory care facility will feature primary and specialty care physician offices, diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, and laboratory services. Construction is scheduled for about 12 months.

“With the Medical Office Building at Penn Medicine Southern Chester County, Seavest continues to invest in significant healthcare facilities aligned with successful health systems in high-quality, efficient and patient-centered environments,” says Jonathan L. Winer, Senior Managing Director of Seavest Healthcare Properties. “This facility reinforces Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital’s brand and offers a convenient location for those living in the western part of the hospital’s market.”

Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital is a University of Pennsylvania Health System hospital. The new MOB is tenanted by the Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital and affiliated physicians.

“With the population growth this area has experienced in recent years, the need for patient services has also increased,” Mr. Winer says. “The new facility accommodates space for physicians, provides accessibility, visibility and the opportunity for future expansion. We anticipate a successful integration and expansion of Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital’s ambulatory service lines within the new Jennersville Medical Office Building at Penn Medicine Southern Chester County.”

A limited amount of space is available in the Jennersville Ambulatory Care Center. Affiliated healthcare professionals who are interested in learning more are invited to contact Katie Jacoby at (302) 655-1010 or kjacoby@anchorhealthproperties.com.
