ATLANTA and DALLAS, May 28, 2014 – Leading national healthcare real estate firm Caddis Partners LLC has named industry veteran Jason Hinkel as Regional Director of Development. Mr. Hinkel’s role will be to lead and expand Dallas-based Caddis Partner’s development activities in the Southeast Region. He joined the privately-held firm in mid-April and is based in Atlanta. “Jason’s solid track record and great reputation as an accomplished healthcare asset manager and relationship builder fit in perfectly with our recent entry into the Atlanta market and our goals for strategic expansion in the Southeast,” says Jud Jacobs, Caddis Partners Senior Vice President of Development. “Jason has left a nice trail of happy customers in his distinguished career, and we know he will continue to cultivate fruitful tenant and end user relationships on our behalf.”

The addition of Hinkel to the Atlanta area comes just after Caddis Partners acquired the 30,578 square foot Piedmont Healthcare-anchored Phoenix Medical Center in the Atlanta suburb of College Park, Ga. and won third-party property management contracts for eight other assets in the region spanning 309,154 square feet.

“I am very excited for the opportunity to grow Caddis Partners in the vibrant Southeast region at a time when healthcare delivery is going through such a dynamic evolution,” Mr. Hinkel says. “Caddis Partners has always been known throughout the industry for its strong focus on the needs of tenants, end-users and physician-investors. I was particularly attracted to this opportunity by their exclusive dedication to healthcare, their great access to capital and legacy of physician investment, and their deliberate approach to expansion in the Southeast, along with the chance to grow their senior care and memory care markets, a new frontier for me, personally.”

Mr. Hinkel’s past experience includes extensive healthcare development and operations throughout the Southeast region with firms including Cogdell Spencer Advisors, Duke Realty and Flagship Capital Partners.

Mr. Hinkel joins the firm at an exciting time. Caddis Partners closed on more than $100 million in acquisitions and developments last year alone, including starting construction on five Heartis senior living communities comprising 390 units in cities across Texas; and acquiring Northeast Medical Plaza, a 22,865 square foot MOB in San Antonio, Texas; South Texas Medical Clinic, a 55,000 square foot MOB leased to Memorial Hermann Health System, just south of Houston in Wharton, Texas, and the 69,053 square foot RiverGate Medical Center in Durango, Colo.
