m_arvinHealthcare Executive to Lead Healthcare and Strategic Services Practice

BOKA Powell is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Arvin as the Healthcare Market Leader for the firm. Michael will lead growth and development efforts for BOKA Powell’s healthcare and strategic services practice, and continue to position the firm for success in a changing healthcare industry.     Michael has more than 25 years of experience leading healthcare organizations in strategic planning, healthcare development, program management, facility master planning and new facility development.  Michael most recently led Alliance Strategic Health Advisors, LLC, a healthcare strategic advisory firm he founded in 2011, which advised hospitals, physician organizations, real estate developers, private equity firms, and boards of directors on adapting to dynamic forces impacting the healthcare market.

Michael has also been a friend and client of BOKA Powell for many years. Prior to forming his own firm, Michael was the senior development executive at Dallas-based Methodist Health System from 2007 to 2011.  He worked with Methodist’s senior leadership and board of directors to develop and implement a long range strategic growth plan for the system.  Included in that plan was the development of a physician-partnered surgical hospital located in Addison, TX.  BOKA Powell was privileged to design the hospital and medical office building associated with the campus. In addition, BOKA Powell supported Methodist Health System with a facility master plan for the flagship campus in Oak Cliff and an Outpatient Ambulatory Strategy for the DFW market.
