Healthcare system will invest $200 million on Solano County, Calif., facilities

NorthBay Healthcare , an independent Fairfield, Calif.-based health system, announced that in addition to its newly opened $20 million Green Valley Health Plaza in Fairfield, it plans to begin major construction on its two hospital campuses in Fairfield and Vacaville, Calif., totaling an additional $180 million.

The health system will implement $140 million in updates to its 132-bed NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield and $40 million on a new 105,000 square foot medical office building (MOB) on the campus of the 50-bed VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville.
