HOUSTON, TX, July 26, 2013 – FKP Architects is pleased to recognize Stephanie M. Fallon, M.S., RID, Assoc. IIDA, for the recent achievement of Registered Interior Designer. The registration, administered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification and granted through Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, signifies that Fallon has working mastery of building systems, code requirement, design application, construction standards and project coordination. Her interior design registration further defines the technical capabilities and design acumen of the entire FKP interiors team.
“Fallon is a very versatile and engaged interior designer,” Kristin Ledet, IIDA, FKP Architects Interior Design Manager, said. “She has solid experience and a natural drive for personal improvement. She is pursuing both the Evidenced-based Design Accreditation Certification and LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification. What a combination of the pragmatic and empirical! I’m very proud of Stephanie’s achievement and know she’ll be a great asset for any of our clients or project type.”
Fallon’s professional experience includes healthcare interiors planning and design as well as fixtures, furnishings and equipment (FF&E) coordination specific to healthcare. Prior to joining the interior design team, Fallon honed her healthcare knowledge and space planning abilities with FKP’s Equipment Collaborative, a division dedicated to technology and equipment in healthcare environments.
Fallon received her M.S. Degree in Human Sciences, specializing in Healthcare Interior Design, from Stephen F. Austin State University. Prior to that, she received her B.F.A. in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston. She is active in the IIDA Texas/Oklahoma Chapter as the Student Conference Liaison for the IIDA Houston City Center Council. Later this year, Fallon will also be taking the exam to achieve her Evidence-based Design Accreditation Certification. Outside the office, Fallon is a devoted volunteer for the Fort Bend Museum Association at the DeWalt Heritage Center.
