  • Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas recently earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Energy Star certification. The building was developed and is managed by Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE). The designation signifies that the building performs in the top 25 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and that it meets strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA. The $154 million, 459,717 square foot facility, which was completed in 2011 and is on the campus of Baylor University Medical Center, is the largest cancer care facility in North Texas.
