40,000-Square-Foot Medical Office Building to be Completed in Spring of 2014

PLAINSBORO, N.J. (July 23, 2013) – River Drive Construction, one of New Jersey’s leading construction companies, has announced that the company has been selected as the general contractor for Forrestal Professional Center, a 40,000-square-foot medical/professional office building located in Forrestal Center in Princeton, N.J. being developed by Beacon Princeton Forrestal MAB Associates and Beacon Medical Realty Investments II LP, a leading developer of medical office buildings throughout the East Coast, along with the principals of Summit Associates Inc., one of the largest industrial developers on the east coast. Together these partners have already completed medical/professional buildings in Hillsborough, N.J., and Scranton, Pa. Forrestal Professional Center is 75 percent pre-leased and has approximately 10,000 square feet available for lease.

The 40,000-square-foot building, Forrestal Professional Center, which is expected to be completed first quarter of 2014, is being built on a 5.7-acre site located at 10 Forrestal Road South, about a mile from University Medical Center at Princeton in Plainsboro, a new state-of-the-art hospital. The new medical office building will consist of up to 16 tenant spaces geared toward doctors in a variety of specialties, and will provide University Medical Center at Princeton doctors with ancillary offices.

River Drive specializes in medical and healthcare construction, having recently completed construction for River Drive Surgery in Elmwood Park, a 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art outpatient clinic in Elmwood Park, N.J.; an Ocean Health Initiatives facility in Lakewood, N.J.; and Quest Diagnostics, a clinical laboratory in Teterboro, N.J.
