Practice to expand/upgrade current clinical office at 150 Broadway in NYC
Tarrytown, NY June 10th, 2013—While Manhattan may be the smallest New York City borough in terms of land mass, it is definitely the most densely populated, both in terms of number of people per square foot, as well as in terms of number of ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (“ENTA”) offices per square mile.
In fact, four of ENTA’s 39 clinical sites and 17 of its 140 physicians serve their patients in Manhattan. These offices, which offer superior ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology care, are conveniently located all over the island, including on the East Side at 86th St, on the West Side on Columbus Avenue, on 5th Avenue at 28th Street, as well as on Wall Street at 150 Broadway. In order to ensure that those who live and work in lower Manhattan continue to receive the very best care possible, today ENTA announced a significant new investment in both the facilities and technology of its Wall Street office, located at 150 Broadway, Suite 1015. Specifically, ENTA plans to sign a new lease and greatly expand its existing footprint at this office.
The effective date for this upgrade is August /September 2013.
The new space will have full service electronic health records and will provide for eight state-of-the-art exam rooms, including six ENT exam rooms, and two allergy exam rooms. In addition, the space will include an audio booth/hearing aid dispensing room, and injection booths. More importantly, the additional office space will allow ENTA to hire an additional physician to fully serve the needs of the adult and pediatric patients who come to that office for their medical care. This new doctor, who is currently being recruited by ENTA, will join forces with the superb physicians who currently work at ENTA’s Wall Street office. These physicians include Otolaryngologists Sheldon Palgon, MD, Anna Aronzon, M.D., Allergist/Immunologist Hale Yarmohammadi, M.D., and Audiologist Karen S. Bromberg, Au.D., F-AAA, CCC-A.
In addition, fellowship-trained Otologist, George A. Poulos, D.O., who was recently recruited to ENTA, will also practice at ENTA’s Wall Street office and team up with this best-in-class roster of physicians.
Robert Glazer, CEO of ENTA remarked, “We are constantly looking for ways to improve the patient experience at our clinical locations. At our Wall Street office, we had the opportunity to expand, upgrade and enhance without needing to move, and this is the best of all worlds.” Mr. Glazer continued, “Now we can ensure that our facility is state-of-the-art, more comfortable, and still conveniently located for our valued patients, who have come to expect seeing us at that location.”
150 Broadway, commonly referred to as the Westinghouse Building, is a 23-story, 250,000 square foot building, located in the heart of the financial district, just steps away from City Hall. Located at the corner of Broadway and Liberty Street, 150 Broadway boasts a diverse tenant population, consisting of commercial, legal and financial firms, as well as retail space.
Dr. Wayne Eisman, President of ENTA added, “This move also allows us the room to welcome a new physician and expand the breadth of treatment we offer. And, thanks to our extensive recruitment initiative, we feel confident we will add an absolutely superb board certified physician to care for our patients.”
The upgraded space is planned to feature a post-injection waiting area for allergy patients, a brand new hearing aid dispenser room, additional work space to accommodate three medical assistants, a dedicated surgical coordinator room, a larger physicians’ office, a new staff lounge, and a larger patient reception area with updated check-in and check-out stations.
“We are absolutely delighted with and completely supportive of the Practice’s plans to improve and expand our office,” commented Dr. Anna Aronzon, ENTA physician partner in the Wall Street office. “Our commitment to being on the leading edge of healthcare is second to none and undertakings such as this one allow us to help fulfill it. I truly believe that our patients recognize that level of dedication, and that’s why they choose us as their trusted health providers.”
ENTA has over 135 physicians in 39 office locations in Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Rockland, Nassau and Suffolk counties, New York City, Long Island, northern New Jersey and 3 offices in central New Jersey. Each ENTA clinical location provides access to a full complement of services, including General Adult and Pediatric ENT, Voice and Swallowing, Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Disorders of the Inner Ear and Dizziness, Asthma, Clinical Immunology, Diagnostic Audiology, Hearing Aid dispensing, Sleep and CT Services. ENTA has a clinical alliance with The Mount Sinai Hospital for the treatment of diseases of the head and neck and esophageal cancer and a partnership with the American Cancer Society to educate and treat patients with smoking disorders and cancer. ENTA has also expanded its clinical capabilities to include advanced Immunodeficiency trials.
