Allina Health monetizes 200,000 square foot outpatient campus near Minneapolis

As one drives along busy U.S. Interstate 494 through Plymouth, Minn., a Minneapolis suburb, the WestHealth complex at the intersection of State Highway 55 certainly looks like a typical hospital campus.
Yet the three-building complex is home to outpatient services only. When it opened in 1994, West Health was somewhat of a new, unique concept in Minnesota as it was perhaps the state’s first large hospital-like campus without inpatient beds.
