We unpack highlights from healthcare real estate conferences across the USA
When we began publishing Healthcare Real Estate InsightsTM more than a decade ago, there was only one established medical office buildings (MOB) conference and that event was relatively small. The 2003 BOMA MOB Conference piggybacked on the national BOMA convention and attracted about 150 attendees.
Of course, the National Investment Center (NIC) senior living conference will celebrate its 23rd year this October. But when it comes to MOBs specifically, the conference pickings used to be very slim.
This year, however, the BOMA MOB conference – which is now separate from the national BOMA event – drew a record 775 registrants. And there will easily be more than a dozen other healthcare real estate conferences in 2013.
