Transactions: Duke Realty buys five MOBs near Cincy

REIT ACQUIRES PORTFOLIO WITH MORE THAN 109,000 S.F. – PLUS ROOM FOR MORE

Duke Realty has acquired five buildings on the TriHealth Bethesda Butler County medical campus in Hamilton, Ohio. This facility, at 3075 Hamilton Mason Rd., is to be expanded by 10,500 square feet to add an emergency department.

Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE) is on an aggressive path toward bolstering its medical real estate portfolio, both through acquisitions and development.

The company added to its more than 4 million square feet of medical real estate holdings in recent weeks, closing on the acquisition of five fully occupied medical office buildings (MOBs) on the campus of TriHealth Bethesda Butler County in Hamilton, Ohio, in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati.
