San Diego-based Pacific Medical Buildings (PMB) has been one of the most prolific medical office building (MOB) developers on the West Coast for nearly four decades.

Over the years, PMB has certainly spread its wings, landing MOB development deals up and down the West Coast and well into the country’s interior.

Now, Pacific Medical is branching out in a new direction – hospital development. Recently, PMB announced that it is teaming up with Nashville, Tenn.-based RD Development Partners (RD) on the development of the future 103-bed Lakeway Regional Medical Center, a full-service hospital slated for the fast-growing Lakeway community about 20 miles northwest of Austin, Texas.
