BUT PANEL HAS SOME CONCERNS ABOUT THE FUTURE

A panel of healthcare real estate experts who gathered in New York recently agreed that development activity has increased so far this year due to a recovering economy and reduced uncertainty surrounding healthcare reform.

But some of them expressed concerns about the intended – and unintended – effects that reform and other industry trends could have in the long run.

The comments were made during a panel discussion at the recent “Medical Office Real Estate Symposium,” which was held at the McGraw Hill Conference Center in Midtown Manhattan.
