IT’S TIME TO TAKE THE PLUNGE WITH CHANGES

Dear Reader:
Think of me on the morning of Jan. 1. No, I won’t be nursing a hangover. Instead, I’ll be jumping into the frigid waters of Lake Minnetonka through a hole cut in the ice.
I’ll be joining about 1,000 other crazy Minnesotans who start off each New Year by taking the dive, often referred to as a “polar bear plunge.”
Here’s a kicker for you – the event is actually a fundraiser for a local organization, meaning I’ll pay $15 for the privilege of nearly freezing myself to death.
