MURRIETA, Calif. – In late January, McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. completed construction on a $37 million, 72,000 square foot expansion of the women’s center and emergency room at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta.
St. Louis-based McCarthy, which has offices in Southern California, also completed site improvements on the 5.5-acre site, including constructing a 252-space parking lot. Dallas-based HKS Architects designed the building and served as the structural engineer. In other news from McCarthy, the Newport Beach, Calif., office recently completed a reconstruction of the Ronald McDonald House Family Room inside Children’s Hospital of Orange County in the city of Orange, Calif. About $225,000 worth of construction work was donated for the project. The architect was Los Angeles-based RBB Architects Inc., and the interior design firm was Correy Design Group of Huntington Beach.
