Former Triad execs launch new firm
LEGACY HOSPITAL PARTNERS TO ACQUIRE, OWN HOSPITALS IN PARTNERSHIPS

In late January, a group of seven former executives of Plano-based Triad Hospitals Inc. launched a new company to own, operate and manage acute care hospitals. Legacy Hospital Partners Inc. is targeting hospitals in small cities and select urban markets.
The privately owned company’s CEO and president is Dan Moen, the former executive vice president of development for Triad, which was acquired in mid-2007 by Brentwood, Tenn.-based Community Health System (NYSE: CYH).
