Memorial Hermann keeps spreading out
HOUSTON SYSTEM UTILIZES REAL ESTATE, DEVELOPERS TO CONTINUE EXPANSION

When the Houston-based Memorial Hermann Healthcare System celebrated its centennial in 2007, it did so in style by completing the lion’s share of a $600 million building campaign.
Launched in 2005, the Century Project has expanded Memorial Hermann’s medical and office space throughout the system by nearly 2.5 million square feet.
Doing things on a grand scale has become a tradition at Memorial Hermann, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, and one of the largest in the United States. Just listing the projects gives one an indication of the size of the capital project as well as Memorial Hermann’s reach in Houston’s metro area.
