But at Least One Advisory Group Plans to Recommend an Extension

Although the federal moratorium on new physician-owned specialty hospitals is scheduled to expire June 8, proponents of the ban are already pushing for an extension, and lobbyists on both sides of the issue are gearing up to rejoin the battle in Congress next month.
