Lillibridge Healthcare Services’ Ian Hughes named BOMA 2017 ‘Southern Region Member Of The Year’ for Leadership in the association and the commercial real estate industry
The company’s Senior Vice President of Property Management and Leasing was lauded for BOMA Georgia’s historically high event attendance, record membership numbers and a leadership training program that is fostering new industry leaders

CHICAGO and NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 12, 2017 – The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International honored Ian Hughes of Lillibridge Healthcare Services Inc. and three other members with a Regional Member of the Year Award during the 2017 BOMA International TOBY Awards in late June in Nashville. Regional Member of the Year Awards are given annually to BOMA members who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment and contribution to both the association and the commercial real estate industry.
Mr. Hughes, Lillibridge Senior Vice President, Property Management and Leasing, was named BOMA’s 2017 Southern Region Member of the Year. The association said that under his leadership, BOMA Georgia experienced historically high attendance at local events and record membership numbers. He also was honored for launching a new leadership training program, which BOMA executives said is strengthening the local association by identifying and fostering new leaders.

As Senior Vice President of Property Management and Leasing for Lillibridge, Mr. Hughes oversees a 9 million square foot portfolio. Prior to joining Lillibridge, he served with CBRE overseeing a diverse portfolio of assets in Georgia. He also served other major real estate companies, including oversight of management teams with Equity Office properties and JLL in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and New York City. Mr. Hughes earned a master’s of business administration from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Villanova University.
Mr. Hughes served as the 2016 President of BOMA Georgia, former President of the Perimeter Transportation Coalition and a Board Member of the South Face Institute. He is a past instructor with the Project REAP program and has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) Green Associate designation.
Mr. Hughes added, “I am honored to be recognized by BOMA International for my efforts to support their mission of elevating our profession through education, advocacy and leadership in sustainability.”
Mr. Wagener said that Lillibridge is a major promoter of BOMA, including serving as a long-time Diamond sponsor and “thought leader” at events.
