Berkadia Medical & Life Sciences is pleased to announce the successful sale of SUN Behavioral Health, a 155,000-square-foot, Class-A behavioral health hospital located in Erlanger, Kentucky. Eric Lee, Sabrina Solomiany, Vasili Davos, Chris Lashmet, Madison Strasmann and George Desloge of Berkadia Medical & Life Sciences led the transaction on behalf of the seller, Salt Lake City-based Woodbury Corporation.
SUN Behavioral Health is a premier, purpose-built behavioral health hospital that provides a full continuum of inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services for patients of all ages. The 197-bed facility benefits from a uniquely dominant position in the Cincinnati MSA, controlling 100% of the region’s Certificate of Need inpatient behavioral health beds and operating in partnership with St. Elizabeth Healthcare. With a strong operating history, exceptional facility-level rent coverage, and a long-term absolute net lease, this deal represented a best-in-class behavioral health asset.
