Grand Opening for 45,000-sq ft. ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital in North Florida
Birmingham, Ala. – The Sanders Trust, one of the nation’s leading healthcare real estate investment and development companies, is pleased to announce the recent completion of the $31 million inpatient rehabilitation facility, ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake City, in Lake City, Florida.
The Sanders Trust was selected as the developer of the 45,000-square-foot rehabilitation hospital, that includes 36 beds. The facility features all private rooms, a rehabilitation gym with specialized equipment and one-on-one therapy, a dining room with a dedicated chef and food service staff, and activities of daily living space designed to simulate home environments. Patients also benefit from an outdoor therapeutic courtyard featuring a variety of walking terrains for rehabilitation in natural conditions.
ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake City is now officially open and providing specialized rehabilitative care to patients recovering from disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medically-complex conditions. Located on a 7.5-acre site south of West U.S. Highway 90, the hospital is expected to treat more than 650 patients annually.

The Sanders Trust partnered with general contractor MJ Harris and architect Studio + to bring the vision of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake City to life. The hospital is located at 198 SW Real Terrace Drive, Lake City, Florida.
