News Release: Rendina and RWJBarnabas Health Celebrate Grand Opening of RWJBarnabas Health at Old Bridge

OLD BRIDGE, N.J. October 1, 2025 — Rendina Healthcare Real Estate and RWJBarnabas Health celebrated the grand opening of RWJBarnabas Health at Old Bridge, a new 71,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art ambulatory care center at 1980 Route 9. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held earlier this week, and the facility is scheduled to open its doors to patients on September 29, 2025.

The center expands access to a broad range of primary and specialty care services, bringing together under one roof clinics for heart and vascular, digestive health, general surgery, endocrinology, sports medicine, neurology, and neurosurgery. The facility also houses Family First Urgent Care, opening October 1, 2025, to provide walk-in services seven days a week for acute, non-life-threatening conditions.

Additional services launching soon include the Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center for Athletes, Oncology/Hematology and Infusion in collaboration with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Rheumatology, New Jersey Imaging Network, JAG Physical Therapy, and LabCorp.

The ribbon-cutting program featured remarks from Mark E. Manigan, President & CEO of RWJBarnabas Health, and Richard Mojares, MD, CEO & CMO of Family First Urgent Care. Local leaders in attendance included Senator Owen Henry, former Mayor of Old Bridge, and Mayor Debbie Walker of Old Bridge.

“This opening reflects our shared commitment to bring more care, closer to home,” said Steve Barry, Executive Vice President, Facilities Management and Real Estate Development at RWJBarnabas Health. “By combining primary care, specialty services, imaging, therapy, and urgent care in one location, we are making the experience simpler for patients and families while raising the overall standard of care. Rendina has been an exceptional partner in bringing this vision to reality. Their expertise and dedication ensured this facility was planned and delivered to the highest standard for the community we serve.”

“Our partnership with RWJBarnabas Health spans many years, and Old Bridge is the latest example of what we can achieve together,” said Richard M. Rendina, Chairman & CEO of Rendina Healthcare Real Estate. “This facility represents more than just a building. It is a purpose-built hub designed to make care more accessible, coordinated, and patient-centered for families in central New Jersey.
