INDIANAPOLIS – (July 22, 2024) Indianapolis-based Bremner Healthcare Real Estate is proud to celebrate the opening of its recently completed 135,000-square-foot ambulatory care center (ACC) at the Norman Regional HealthPlex in Norman, OK. This new facility was seamlessly integrated into the existing hospital patient tower which will now serve as Norman Regional Health’s flagship.
The project marks a consolidation of Norman Regional Health System’s two acute care campuses at the Norman Regional Healthplex, which will officially be renamed Norman Regional Hospital concurrently with the opening of the expanded facilities. This hospital campus has undergone an extensive expansion that includes a new critical care tower expansion, remodeled emergency department, additional ambulatory care building, and parking garage. A cancer center, the OU Stephenson Cancer Center at Norman Regional, will also open at this location in 2025.
The ACC developed by Bremner Real Healthcare Estate features cutting-edge technology and includes 11 operating rooms, a full imaging suite, central sterile, and physician offices in an environment designed to prioritize patient comfort and safety.

This is Bremner’s third major project completion with Norman Regional Health. In late 2022, Bremner completed Norman Regional Nine, a 47,000-square-foot free-standing emergency department that includes a rehabilitation clinic, pharmacy and physician offices to replace services previously offered at the Norman Regional Porter hospital which is to be decommissioned upon the opening of the ACC and hospital expansion at the HealthPlex campus location. Bremner also completed the 750-car attached parking garage which opened in September of 2023. The 50,000-square-foot OU Stephensen Cancer Center at Norman Regional marks the fourth collaboration between Bremner and Norman Regional Health, with completion scheduled for fourth quarter 2025.
