Chicago, May 17, 2024 – BMO’s Healthcare Real Estate group announces that it closed a $44,800,000 acquisition loan for a joint venture led by Kayne Anderson Real Estate and managed by Remedy Medical Properties. The BMO loan provided financing for the acquisition of a 93,386 SF build-to-suit occupied by RUSH University Medical Center. The 2018 LEED Gold certified facility is an outpatient healthcare hub featuring a high volume, Certificate of Need protected, multi-specialty surgery center containing six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and 28 bays.
RUSH hand-selected this location as a regional destination center with the goal of providing convenient access to advanced specialties for the western suburbs of Chicago and beyond. The facility currently accommodates 17 clinical specialties with more than 65 exam rooms, outpatient surgical suites, an advanced imaging center, and laboratory services. The attached 492-space parking structure provides direct building access on each floor.
